Willing to donate? To sell? Your contribution can help build more Habitat Houses!

Watauga County Habitat for Humanity is looking for land. Do you know of anyone willing to donate or sell land for Habitat homes? Land must be in Watauga County and meet health department requirements for septic systems by perking. Watauga County requires new homes be built on a minimum of a half acre of land.

Ideally, the land would be donated and the owner would receive the benefit of a charitable contribution that would lower their tax burden. A charitable contribution is available to anyone selling land to Habitat for less that market value as well.
